Baristar Devlog #5 - Goals, Narrative, Flashing Hands
Introducing the story! It will only happen if you start a new game, but the first cinematic is now in the game. I have a story planned out, it might take a while to get around to being fully implemented due to all the extra modelling and audio, but that should help keep the game more immersive.
Cut scenes are skippable, just hold down any input until the indicator mug is full.
Also in this update is the addition of Daily Goals, which can earn you some extra money. They are displayed on the board.
There is also now a little info button next to your daily earnings which can show you where they money is coming from, so you can see hwo your strategy is really panning out.
The day will now end when you have no available moves (i.e. when your energy is less than any card cost in your hand and your shift changes have been used up). The clock hands will also flash towards the end of the day, just as a little reminder to finish off your end of day plans.
